Server | Part-Time | Federal Way Performing Arts and Event Center

We are seeking a skilled Server to join our team at the Federal Way Performing Arts and Event Center. As a Server, you will provide exceptional hospitality to our guests in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Responsibilities- Maintain knowledge of our menu and special items to ensure accurate and efficient service.
- Provide quick, attentive, and friendly service to banquet guests, communicating clearly with all customers.
- Ensure food items are served at the proper temperature and immediately upon availability from the kitchen, as ordered by the customer.
- Present ordered items neatly, with no spill-over, and maintain a clean appearance.
- Pre-bus and full-bus tables as needed during peak periods.
- Stock beverage stations with necessary items, such as ice, juices, glassware, and sugar packets.
- Respond promptly to customer desires and requests, maintaining a professional and clean appearance.
- Communicate effectively with wait staff, bus persons, bartenders, supervisors, and kitchen staff to ensure seamless service.
- Develop knowledge of bar offerings to accurately answer patron questions.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment is preferred.
- A High School Diploma, G.E.D., or related food service job experience is required.
- A Food Handlers Card, Alcohol Awareness Certification, and other required compliance trainings must be acquired and maintained.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment.
- Effective communication skills to interact with employees, co-workers, management staff, and guests in a clear, business-like, and respectful manner.
