About the Opportunity
The University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center is seeking highly qualified candidates for tenure-track faculty positions in the Health Promotion Research Center. As a leading institution in health sciences, we are committed to reducing the burden of disease through innovative research, education, and community engagement.
Research Focus
We are particularly interested in candidates with expertise in the following areas:
- Physical activity, obesity, and nutrition
- Cancer survivorship, including pain management
- Health behavior change and lifestyle interventions, particularly with vulnerable populations
- Community-engaged research, especially in rural communities
- Native American health inequities
- Implementation science and health services research
- Assessment and interventions focused on opioid misuse
Qualifications
Applicants should hold a doctoral degree in a health-related field and demonstrate a strong academic record, with evidence of scholarship and potential for acquiring extramural funding. Assistant Professor level applicants should have a strong academic record, with evidence of scholarship and show strong potential for acquiring extramural funding. Associate/Full Professor level applicants should have a strong record of extramural funding.
