At HCA Florida Fawcett Hospital, we are committed to delivering exceptional patient care and supporting our colleagues in their careers. We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Surgical Registered Nurse to join our team in the Inpatient Rehab Med Surg department.

Responsibilities

As a Medical Surgical Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, efficient care to patients in a medical surgical environment. Your clinical expertise will be essential in ensuring that all patients receive the best possible care. You will assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate the care of Med/Surg patients, instruct patients and families regarding medications and treatment instructions, maintain and review patients' records, and administer medications in accordance with physician orders.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must be licensed as a Florida Registered Nurse in accordance with state regulations or have compact licensure. If compact license held, active FL RN license is required within 60 days of hire. A nursing diploma or ASN is required; BSN is preferred. Previous experience in an acute care setting is strongly preferred. Current American Heart Association BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is required. Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills are essential. You must be able to read and comprehend written instructions, follow verbal instructions, and possess PC skills.
