Position Overview:
The Massage Therapist at Northwestern Medicine Delnor Health & Fitness Center plays a vital role in delivering exceptional massage services to our clientele.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer a variety of massage techniques tailored to individual client needs.
  • Ensure punctuality in starting and concluding all scheduled appointments.
  • Conduct demonstration massages to engage potential clients and showcase expertise during promotional events.
  • Maintain an understanding of the services provided and products available for sale within the spa.
  • Contribute to the marketing efforts of spa services and propose ideas for monthly promotional activities.
  • Keep the massage therapy room clean, organized, and welcoming.
  • Assist with front desk duties, including answering calls and scheduling appointments as necessary.
  • Participate in the monthly inventory management of supplies and equipment.
  • Adhere to safety and sanitation protocols to ensure a safe environment.
  • Utilize relevant business software effectively in relation to job responsibilities.
  • Exhibit flexibility in working hours and appointment scheduling to accommodate client needs.
  • Perform additional tasks as required.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED is mandatory.
  • An Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year institution is preferred.
  • Graduation from an accredited Massage Therapy program is essential.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in a spa environment is preferred.
  • CPR/AED certification must be obtained within 90 days of employment.
  • Compliance with state certification and licensure requirements is necessary.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are required to foster positive interactions with clients.
  • Proficiency in computer applications is essential.
