Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Cherrelyn Healthcare Center. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents with respiratory deficiencies and abnormalities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Interdisciplinary Team to develop and implement individualized care plans for residents with respiratory needs.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of residents' respiratory status, including lung capacities, carbon dioxide and oxygen levels, and other relevant tests.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans to address respiratory deficiencies and abnormalities, including oxygen therapy, medication management, and other interventions.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices in respiratory care.
Requirements
  • Unencumbered registered or certified Respiratory Therapist authorized to practice in Colorado.
  • Minimum of one (1) year respiratory experience in a skilled nursing and/or acute care setting.
  • Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
  • BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer.
  • Knowledgeable user of Point Click Care (PCC).

Job Type: Full-time and Part-Time needed (3 Positions)

Pay: $27.00 - $36.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.

Healthcare setting: Skilled Nursing/Acute care and Rehab services center.

Shift: Coverage needed 7 days/week. 8-hour shifts, rotating weekends, regularly schedule 40 hours/workweek.
