Key Responsibilities:
  • Answer phone calls in a timely and polite manner
  • Take accurate notes and relay messages to the appropriate provider
  • Respond to voicemails in a timely and knowledgeable manner
  • Maintain accurate logs and schedules
  • Provide instructions for scheduled procedures, including pre-op and post-op care
  • Collect fees associated with services and update the daily ledger
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • Minimum post-high school education in a medical support field (Medical Assistant or LPN)
  • Current state certifications, licenses, and/or registrations
  • 1 year of recent medical office experience in a similar capacity (preferred)
  • Bilingual in Spanish (strongly preferred)
  • Proficient in basic computer functions
  • Excellent customer service, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to operate standard office equipment
  • Ability to type a minimum of 40 wpm (preferred)
  • Attention to detail and ability to multi-task
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of information
