Job Overview:

Position Title: Radiologic Technologist

Role Summary:

Effectively conducts standard and advanced radiographic procedures to generate high-quality images essential for medical diagnosis, treatment, and disease prevention. Operates autonomously, demonstrating clinical expertise and sound judgment. Establishes trust and rapport with patients and healthcare professionals through thorough assessments and clear communication. Complies with privacy and safety regulations.

Educational Requirements:

  • Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program

Licensure & Certification:

  • ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and proof of application for CRT
  • CA CRT - Certified Radiologic Technologist
  • Basic Life Support Certification for Healthcare Providers
  • Radiology Fluoroscopy certification within 180 days of hire if necessary

Experience Expectations:

  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience

Essential Skills and Knowledge:

  • Understanding of diagnostic radiology principles, methodologies, and technologies
  • Ability to manage trauma and emergency situations
  • Comprehensive knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities

  • Commitment to privacy protection and relationship building

SMF-Sutter Med Foundation-Central is an equal opportunity employer. Compensation ranges from $49.96 to $62.44 per hour, determined by factors such as experience, education, skills, licensure, certifications, and organizational requirements. The base salary is part of a comprehensive benefits package.
