Mental Health Support Specialist

ClearVista Behavioral Health is a leading provider of behavioral health services in the region. We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mental Health Technician (MHT) Manager to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the therapeutic milieu under the direction of Nursing and Clinical leadership
  • Ensure that the schedule/program is consistently delivered, patients are supervised, safety is maintained, and patients and guests are treated with respect and dignity
  • Assist with scheduling and coordinate patient care activities
  • Assist with feedback in the evaluation process of MHTs and help manage training, resources, and support for MHTs

Requirements:

  • College Education/Associate's Degree
  • At least 2 years working in a behavioral health setting with supervisory experience

Key Qualifications:

  • Understanding of resident rights and care procedures and standards
  • Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action
  • Ability to deal tactfully with staff, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies, and the general public
  • Ability and willingness to work harmoniously with all staff
  • Must have patience, tact, and enthusiasm, as well as the willingness to handle difficult residents
  • Willingness and ability to be flexible in new methods and principles, as well as willingness to incorporate them into existing practices
  • Computer literacy and skills including Microsoft software including but not limited to Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Prior Scheduling software experience preferred
  • Ability to openly communicate at all levels of the organization
