Apotheco Pharmacy Louisville, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Medical Support Specialist to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and be able to effectively interact with patients, providing top-notch customer service.

As a Medical Support Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Preparing medications and supplies for patients
  • Processing prescriptions using computer software
  • Monitoring inventory and storage of medications and supplies
  • Coordinating patient deliveries
  • Maintaining a clean and organized pharmacy environment
  • Verifying insurance information and applying manufacturer coupons when applicable

In addition to these responsibilities, the successful candidate will also be expected to:

  • Provide excellent phone presence, being friendly, professional, and well-spoken
  • Keep patient information up-to-date
  • Bill and charge credit cards accurately

We offer a competitive salary, estimated at $45,000 - $60,000 per year, based on location and experience. This full-time position includes benefits such as PTO, paid holidays, medical/dental/vision insurance, short-term disability, 401(k), and life insurance. A work-life balance is encouraged, with evenings and weekends off, 10 days of PTO, and 2 floating holidays.

To be considered for this role, applicants must have a High School Graduate (or equivalent) degree and possess excellent communication skills. Previous experience in pharmacy or related healthcare fields is preferred but not required.
