Overview

Rocky Mountain Cancer Centers, a leading provider of cancer care in Colorado, is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our team in Longmont. Responsibilities
  • Escort patients to and from exam rooms, physician offices, and treatment rooms as needed.
  • Record patient data prior to each physician visit, including vital signs, height, weight, allergies, and medication changes.
  • Obtain all necessary patient records and verify consent prior to treatment or procedures.
  • Prepare and stock exam/treatment rooms and order supplies as needed.
  • Assist physicians with exams and procedures as requested.
  • Provide patient education and support, including distributing educational materials and answering patient questions.
Qualifications

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Assistant with a certificate of graduation from an accredited program and a minimum of two years of experience in a hospital or clinic setting. Current CPR certification is required.

We offer a competitive salary range of $18.29-$25.00 per hour, based on education, experience, and certification. Work Environment

As a Medical Assistant at Rocky Mountain Cancer Centers, you will work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, interacting with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals. You will be exposed to communicable diseases, toxic substances, ionizing radiation, medical preparations, and other conditions common to an oncology/hematology clinic environment. All qualified candidates are required to pass a background check and non-federal drug test (which excludes marijuana) post-offer of employment and prior to hire.
