About the Role

As a Control Room Operator at Reworld, you will be responsible for executing approved plant start-up and shutdown procedures to ensure the facility meets its operational, environmental, and safety commitments while operating in a safe and environmentally efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide guidance to Crane, Auxiliary, and Back Plant Operators to maintain a safe and efficient operation
  • Effectively monitor Reworld operations systems and have strong working knowledge of boiler, turbine, and auxiliary equipment operations
  • Experienced in reading blueprints, P&ID's, and schematic specifications
  • Manage critical events and prioritize tasks for completion at times during emergency, providing clear directions in operational, safety and environmental tasks
  • Respond to operational alarms, taking immediate corrective action
  • Demonstrate solid understanding of operational best practices, including the ability to problem solve and make sound decisions that supports Reworld's safety and operational goals
Requirements & Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Successful completion of ASME QRO Provisional Licensing exam required within the first year of holding the position
Shift Work:

This position works on a rotating 12-hour shift including weekends and some holidays. Overtime will be required.
