Job Summary

At Baptist Memorial Health Care, we are seeking a highly skilled Medical Laboratory Technician to join our team. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of laboratory results.

Responsibilities
  • Receive, identify, and prioritize specimens for testing
  • Perform and report laboratory procedures, ensuring accurate and timely results
  • Conduct quality control, proficiency testing, and calibration of laboratory instruments
  • Evaluate patient identification to minimize errors and adverse outcomes
  • Support ongoing learning and professional development
Requirements
  • Minimum: Completion of an accredited Medical Laboratory Technician program
  • Licensure, Registration, Certification: Temporary state licensure and/or national registration or certification, with full licensure required within six months of hire date
  • Preferred: ASCP certification
