About the Role

Atrium Health Charlotte is seeking a highly skilled Surgical Technologist Level I to join our team. As a key member of our surgical team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety during surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in preparing patients for surgery, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available.
  • Maintain aseptic technique and sterile field throughout the procedure.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure smooth and efficient surgical procedures.
  • Monitor and document sterilization activities for completion.
  • Participate in educational opportunities to increase competency and meet personal needs and goals.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Current Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider required.
  • Graduate of an accredited school of surgical technology or successful completion of military training program for Surgical Technology or Operating Room Specialist.
  • Current certification preferred.
