Job Title: Elementary STEAM Teacher

We are seeking a highly qualified and passionate Elementary STEAM Teacher to join our team at Avant Garde Academy Foundation, Inc.

Job Summary:

The Elementary STEAM Teacher will be responsible for teaching STEAM education to elementary students, promoting a culture of inquiry, critical thinking, and creativity. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in elementary education and experience in teaching STEAM subjects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive STEAM curriculum for elementary students
  • Design and deliver engaging lessons that promote student-centered learning and hands-on experiences
  • Assess student progress and adjust instruction to meet the needs of all learners
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide initiatives and programs
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a positive and supportive learning environment
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree from a fully accredited college or university
  • Florida teaching certificate in Elementary Education
  • Experience in teaching STEAM subjects or a related field
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
