We are seeking an experienced Circulating OR Registered Nurse to join our clinical team in a Full-time capacity at Lawrenceville Surgery Center, a single-specialty ambulatory orthopedic surgery practice committed to delivering exceptional patient care and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure all patient paperwork is completed, including consent forms.
- Document procedures and patient information during the surgery.
- Act as a patient advocate, ensuring safety procedures are met.
- Replenish surgical supplies as needed during the procedure.
- Verify instrument count and complete charting and other related duties after the procedure.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Current Georgia Nursing License.
- Current BLS, ACLS.
- Minimum of 2 years experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and management of the surgical patient.
- Ability to care for patients from infancy to geriatrics.
- Knowledge base to recognize, evaluate, solve problems, and correct errors.
- Ability to quickly adapt to the changing condition of the patient when needed.
- Excellent teaching skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Demonstrate strong professional and ethical behavior.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, physicians, and fellow employees.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Demonstrate accountability, creativity, and innovation, and be receptive to change.
- Possess basic knowledge of Performance Improvement ideology.
- ASC experience highly-preferred.
- 1-2 years of scrub or circulating experience required.
- Ortho experience highly favored.
