Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Circulating OR Registered Nurse to join our clinical team in a Full time capacity at Lawrenceville Surgery Center, a single-specialty ambulatory orthopedic surgery practice committed to the highest clinical and customer service standards in the industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure all patient paperwork is completed, such as consent forms.
  • Document what takes place during the procedure.
  • Act as a patient advocate, ensuring safety procedures are being met.
  • Replenish surgical supplies as needed during the procedure.
  • Verify instrument count and complete charting and other related duties after the procedure.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Current Georgia Nursing License.
  • Current BLS, ACLS.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and management of the surgical patient.
  • Understanding of the principles of aseptic technique and their implementation.
  • Ability to care for patients from infancy to geriatrics.
  • Knowledge base to recognize, evaluate, solve problems, and correct errors.
  • Ability to quickly adapt to the changing condition of the patient when needed.
  • Excellent teaching skills.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrate strong professional and ethical behavior.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, physicians, and fellow employees.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Demonstrate accountability, creativity, and innovation, and be receptive to change.
  • Possess basic knowledge of Performance Improvement ideology.
Preferred Experience
  • ASC experience highly-preferred.
  • 1-2 years of scrub or circulating experience required.
  • Ortho experience highly favored.
