Job Summary

Henrico Doctors' Hospital Forest is seeking a skilled NICU Registered Nurse to join our team. As a NICU Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to neonates and infants in our state-of-the-art NICU.

Responsibilities
  • Perform clinical nursing duties for neonates and infants according to policy and procedures.
  • Recognize developmental stages of neonates and infants and provide appropriate support to maximize their developmental outcome.
  • Respond promptly and appropriately to acute changes in neonate/infant condition and emergency situations in the NICU and other hospital departments.
  • Provide support and teaching to the family unit.
  • Communicate effectively with all members of the healthcare team utilizing verbal and written skills.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (BSN preferred).
  • Current Registered Nurse license in Virginia or a compact license.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • At least one year of NICU RN experience preferred.
