Role Summary

The Field Service Technician Specialist will engage in research and development installation tasks in the field, specifically supporting electric utility projects. This position involves the installation of electric meters and requires working outdoors in varying weather conditions. The ideal candidate will be proficient in utilizing data collection tools, such as handheld tablets, and will maintain a high standard of quality while effectively communicating with local utility customers. Comprehensive training, certifications, and equipment will be provided by Honeywell.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Must possess a clean driving record and a valid driver's license, with the ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
  • Capability to work in diverse outdoor environments.
  • High School Diploma or GED is required.

Desired Skills:

  • Basic technical skills along with strong written and verbal communication abilities, with a capacity to work independently.
  • Problem-solving skills to analyze and identify issues effectively.
  • Experience operating a company vehicle while adhering to safe driving practices.
  • Familiarity with mobile technology.
