Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Development: Prepare detailed designs, layouts, and specifications for new equipment and processes, using computer-aided design (CAD) software and other tools.
  • Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion, budget adherence, and quality standards.
  • Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality.
  • Technical Expertise: Provide technical guidance and support to production staff, engineers, and management on various engineering-related topics, including electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work effectively with cross-functional teams, including production, maintenance, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless project execution and effective communication.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field, with 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing setting, preferably in plant engineering, food processing, material handling, and/or packaging.
  • Skills and Knowledge: Proficient in AutoCAD and/or AutoDesk Inventor, familiarity with process controls, and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Leadership and Collaboration: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, provide guidance and support, and foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
