About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Optometrist to join our team in Washington D.C. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented group of professionals who share your passion for vision care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform Comprehensive Eye Exams: Conduct thorough eye exams to assess patients' vision and detect any potential issues.
  • Diagnose and Treat Eye Conditions: Accurately diagnose and treat eye conditions, such as nearsightedness, farsightedness, and astigmatism.
  • Prescribe Eyewear: Prescribe glasses, contact lenses, or other corrective devices as needed.
  • Provide Patient Education: Educate patients on eye health, eyewear, and prescription terminology.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must:

  • Hold a Doctor of Optometry license in the state of practice.
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to patient-centered care.
  • Be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Meet the requirements outlined by Warby Parker's protocols and standards of care.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $133,000-$164,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications, plus additional benefits including:
