Job Title: Certified Peer Specialist

We are seeking a results-driven and patient-centered Certified Peer Specialist to join our team at Nex Level Behavioral Health & Addiction Services, LLC. As a Certified Peer Specialist, you will be responsible for providing peer support services to individuals recovering from mental health conditions and assisting them in achieving their recovery goals.

About the Role:

This is a dynamic and fast-paced position that requires strong communication and interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mental health, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized support and guidance to clients in achieving their recovery goals
  • Assist clients in developing coping strategies and techniques for managing mental health symptoms
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support
  • Maintain accurate records and reports of client interactions and progress
  • Participate in ongoing training and education to stay current on best practices in peer support
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Experience working in mental health settings, preferably in a peer support role
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • Certification as a Certified Peer Specialist (CPS) or willingness to obtain certification within 6 months
