Objective: To cultivate a learning atmosphere that encourages academic excellence among students by aligning with the educational philosophy, objectives, and goals of the system. Implement a comprehensive educational program tailored to the designated grade level and subject area, utilizing the established curriculum, suitable resources, and effective teaching methodologies. Act as an advocate for students, a role model, and a professional resource for parents, the community, and the educational system.
Responsibilities:
- Exhibit support for the educational system and its vision, goals, and priorities.
- Demonstrate understanding of child development principles.
- Show proficiency in the prescribed curriculum, current educational research, and technological tools; effectively implement varied instructional strategies to cater to diverse student learning styles and achieve significant educational outcomes.
- Employ technology to design and deliver instruction, enhancing student learning experiences.
- Model innovative technology use for students.
- Facilitate and oversee the integration of technology within the classroom.
- Provide necessary accommodations for students with special needs, including those in exceptional education and English language learners.
- Select, develop, modify, and adapt instructional materials and resources to support learning objectives and address diverse student backgrounds.
- Establish routines and apply effective behavior management techniques.
- Create a stimulating learning environment.
- Participate in the administration of assessments as required.
- Organize procedures and materials for effective instructional time management.
- Utilize ongoing assessments to track student progress and inform instructional planning.

- Provide instruction on safety protocols and proper handling of materials.

- Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited institution.
- Valid teaching certification in the relevant grade level and subject area.

- Proficient in oral and written communication.
- Strong interpersonal skills, emphasizing collaboration with diverse groups to maximize student achievement.
- Capable of developing and implementing curriculum tailored to the needs of students.

Compensation: Salary is determined based on the Board-approved salary schedule, considering rank, certification, and experience.
