UNC Medical Center is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Burn/Wound Care team. As a critical care nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care in our 21-bed ICU-capable Burn Center.
Responsibilities:- Provide competent clinical nursing care to patients with complex burn and wound care needs.
- Coordinate and deliver patient care utilizing the nursing process in a hospital setting.
- Participate in interdisciplinary discussions to evaluate patient care and develop goals for professional growth.
- Collaborate with patient/family to prepare or update care plans, using multidisciplinary resources.
- Address cultural and ethnic issues in care planning.
- Minimum of one (1) year of nursing experience.
- Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification (AHA or ARC).
