We're seeking a High-Voltage Design Engineer to join our team at Rosendin Electric. As an Electrical Engineer II, you'll be responsible for designing and implementing high-voltage electrical systems for our clients.

About the Role
  • We're looking for someone with 5-7 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in construction or related fields.
  • A Bachelor's degree in engineering, architectural engineering, or a related field is required.
Responsibilities
  • Provide technical engineering information and support to senior engineers to ensure project compliance with engineering standards and codes.
  • Review, comment, and process equipment and system submittals in coordination with the Engineer of Record.
  • Develop electrical specifications appropriate for the project.
  • Generate single-line diagrams, including feeder and overcurrent protection sizing.
  • Conduct short-circuit and overcurrent coordination studies, as well as Arc Flash mitigation Studies.
Requirements
  • Fully competent in the majority of Engineer I skills.
  • Proficiency in Analytics programs for short circuit and over-current coordination and arc flash analysis programs.
  • Fluency with the Codes.
  • Working knowledge of the energy efficiency requirements.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, changing priorities as necessary.
