Job Description

We are seeking an experienced RF and DSP Engineer to join our team at HEICO Corporation.

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to lead the development of cutting-edge products that bring AI to RF applications at the edge, serving various industries such as scientific research, UAVs, industrial automation, and defense.

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop high-performance RF and DSP systems, with a focus on Software Defined Radios (SDRs).
  • Initiate and configure digital signals, develop signal processing systems and algorithms, and work with FPGAs.
  • Create schematics, layouts, component libraries, and bills of materials using Altium Designer.
  • Lay out mixed-signal PCBs or direct PCB layout.
  • Bring up and debug electronics and system-level issues, with expertise in solving data throughput, grounding, and thermal management problems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of high-quality products.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in RF and DSP design, with a strong emphasis on SDRs.
  • Proficiency in C/C++, Python, and familiarity with FPGA-based SDR design.
  • Experience with EW, SIGINT, or satellite communications applications is highly desirable.
