In this role, you will engage in collaborative research with leading academic institutions and receive comprehensive training from our specialists in mindfulness, nutrition, and behavioral health. You will also work closely with our orthopedic surgeons to expand your expertise in musculoskeletal treatment.
As a Physical Therapist (PT) at SpineZone, you will be responsible for managing core spine strengthening programs for patients, ensuring they apply effective techniques for optimal recovery. Your primary focus will be on delivering high-quality rehabilitative care while overseeing the intake of patient care plans.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants (PTA) and Spinal Rehab Specialists (SRS) to ensure exceptional patient care.
- Conduct thorough evaluations of musculoskeletal and neurological conditions.
- Design, implement, and assess tailored physical therapy treatment plans.
- Maintain adherence to clinical protocols and standards within the SpineZone program.
- Utilize MedX or DAVID equipment for patient assessments and provide clear instructions.
- Address clinical concerns promptly with PTA and SRS.
- Collaborate with the medical director and referring providers to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Document patient encounters accurately using the EHR Portal System.
- Ensure timely communication of clinical documents to referring practitioners.
- Assist with Maintenance Program patients as required.
- Maintain a clean and organized clinic environment.
- Aim to meet all Clinical KPI benchmarks and maintain productivity standards.
- Participate in educational webinars and team meetings.
- Ensure accurate maintenance of Portal dashboards and timely follow-ups.
- Complete daily billing processes in Athena.
- Manage appointment scheduling and patient communications.
- Collect copays and other fees prior to patient visits.
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and compliance standards.
- Deliver outstanding customer service and engage positively with patients.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Active Physical Therapist license in California.
- Doctorate in Physical Therapy or equivalent qualification.
- Current CPR certification.
- In-depth knowledge of physical therapy principles and practices.
- Familiarity with organizational policies and patient care regulations.
- Understanding of safety protocols in a medical environment.
- Ability to maintain detailed patient care records and reports.
- Strong problem-solving skills, especially in high-pressure situations.
- Capability to uphold quality assurance and control standards.
- Effective multitasking and organizational skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Drive.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
This position is based in an outpatient physical therapy setting, requiring physical activity such as walking, standing, bending, and lifting throughout the workday. The role may involve lifting objects over 50 pounds and assisting patients with mobility.
