As a Licensed Vocational Nurse, you'll play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care in our primary care and specialty settings. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Directing patients to exam/treatment areas and preparing them for examinations and procedures
  • Obtaining records and reporting vital signs and patient information to clinicians
  • Administering medication, performing patient tests, and instructing patients on procedural preparations under supervision
  • Notifying pharmacies of new prescriptions and authorizations
  • Collecting, labeling, and transporting specimens
  • Maintaining exam/treatment areas and medical equipment
  • Maintaining logs, records, and supply inventories
  • Performing telephone screening and additional duties as assigned

Required qualifications include:

  • Graduation from an accredited LVN program
  • Active, unrestricted LVN license from the state of California
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare providers (American Heart Association)
  • Blood withdrawal certification
