Position Summary

We are seeking dedicated and talented educators to become part of our elementary team. You will collaborate with fellow educators to enhance the academic success of all students in your grade level.

Utilizing data to inform your teaching, you will consistently evaluate student progress to ensure that each child's personalized learning plan meets their distinct needs and aspirations for development.

Additionally, you will benefit from ongoing training and support through high-quality professional development and personalized coaching.

Qualifications

Mandatory:

Education:
Bachelor's Degree
Valid California State Teaching Credential or equivalent teaching license from another state
Intern credential accepted

Other Requirements:
Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
Provision of TB (tuberculin) clearance within 60 days of hire, as required by California Education Code
CA DOJ and FBI fingerprint (Livescan) clearance prior to the commencement of the school year
Proof of COVID-19 vaccination OR approved medical or religious exemption

2 or more years of teaching experience, ideally in a high-performing educational environment achieving excellent student outcomes.
Experience with diverse student populations
Experience in social-emotional learning and restorative practices.
Experience incorporating technology into the classroom.

Work Environment:

Setting:
This role operates within a school/classroom environment. This position routinely utilizes standard classroom equipment such as laptops, photocopiers, whiteboards, fitness equipment, and Chromebooks. The physical demands outlined here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully execute the essential functions of this position.

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions. This classification involves sitting with some walking and standing for extended periods. Staff may be required to lift, pull, or push objects weighing approximately 50 pounds or less. The employee will encounter exposure to ill students.

The position requires mobility to climb, kneel, stoop, crawl, reach, and bend, as well as accurate perception of sound; near and far vision with the ability to read small print; depth dexterity; and the ability to provide oral information and direction.

The position is primarily located at a school site with outside supervision and occasional district office visits. The employee will frequently work independently under high work volume and tight deadlines.
