Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Automotive Service Manager to lead and direct all service department activities of our retail store. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing and directing all automotive and general service technicians, ensuring exceptional customer service, and promoting our company's vision and values.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Service
    • Deliver exceptional customer service while listening and consulting customers
    • Follow up with customers, services requested, estimated completion times, etc.
  • Service Operations
    • Oversee complete vehicle inspections and make comprehensive recommendations
    • Build computerized repair orders and source parts
    • Deliver and discuss pricing estimates with customers, promoting shop service specials
  • Team Leadership
    • Lead, manage, and train team members while keeping in tune with our company's vision, purpose, core values, and employee creed
    • Supervise up to ten employees
  • Facility Management
    • Maintain inventory counts
    • Ensure overall cleanliness and organization of the facility

Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years of store or service manager experience
  • General automotive knowledge
  • Excellent customer service disposition
  • Good communication skills
  • Leadership ability
  • Team building skills
  • Ability to work a flexible retail schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays
  • Valid driver's license
