Position Overview: We are looking for an experienced Corporate Legal Advisor to support our growing operations. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in commercial law, regulatory compliance, litigation, and intellectual property. This role presents a unique opportunity to thrive in a fast-paced startup setting, particularly in the field of space robotics. Responsibilities will include the review, interpretation, and advisory on Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Purchase Orders (POs) from government entities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide legal guidance for commercial transactions, including drafting and negotiating agreements.
  • Advise on compliance with regulations, including International Traffic in Arms Regulations.
  • Manage litigation matters, including coordination with external legal counsel.
  • Safeguard the company's intellectual property rights.
  • Review, interpret, and advise on RFPs and POs from government entities.
  • Develop and implement strategies for legal compliance and risk management.
  • Analyze procedures and reports to identify potential risks or compliance issues.
  • Offer legal counsel and support to the executive leadership on a variety of legal and business matters.

Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
  • Minimum of 4+ years of experience in corporate law.
  • Experience as in-house legal counsel, preferably within a technology-focused organization.
  • At least 2 years of legal experience in the technology sector.
  • Extensive experience in reviewing, interpreting, and advising on RFPs and POs.
  • Familiarity with International Traffic in Arms Regulations.
  • Experience working with government entities.
  • Ability to analyze procedures and reports to uncover potential risks or compliance issues.
  • A strong background in space robotics is advantageous.
