Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Communication Disorders from an accredited institution recognized by ASHA and the state board.
  • Current licensure and/or registration as a Speech Language Pathologist in the applicable state.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough speech therapy evaluations as per physician orders.
  • Document evaluation findings accurately using standardized formats, adhering to all guidelines.
  • Develop comprehensive treatment plans with defined long-term and short-term goals, frequency, duration, and therapeutic modalities.
  • Ensure that physician orders are secured for evaluations, treatments, recertifications, and discharges.
  • Deliver effective treatment to patients, adjusting modalities and interventions as necessary while following safety precautions.

Work Environments:
Settings may include outpatient clinics, rehabilitation centers, long-term care facilities, inpatient units, nursing homes, acute care hospitals, and more.
