Job Overview

The Technical Business Insights Analyst plays a pivotal role in the development of analytical tools and reporting mechanisms that uncover gaps, opportunities, and challenges for internal teams, while also enhancing value for clients. This position is tasked with the extraction of data from various sources, ensuring meticulous validation and reconfiguration, and delivering meaningful analytics.

In addition, the role requires aligning business needs with technical solutions and documenting specifications during the intake phase. Collaboration with internal stakeholders and fellow members of the Business Insights team is essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical team members and stakeholders.
  • Engage with business analysts to gather information on business requirements and translate these into technical specifications.
  • Accurately document project requirements through the intake process.
  • Devise innovative technical solutions to address business challenges and implement necessary configuration adjustments, ensuring quality and performance.
  • Conduct data analysis on extensive datasets, drawing conclusions and identifying opportunities for enhancing the effectiveness and efficiency of analytical processes.
  • Manage daily workloads across multiple projects with competing priorities effectively.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, or a related field, or
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in a technical analyst, business analyst, data scientist, or similar role.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (e.g., VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and macros).
  • Working knowledge of SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle).
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Ability to work independently and demonstrate strong self-reliance.
  • Excellent communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Proficiency in Python for data manipulation and analysis.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Background in the 340B program or healthcare industry.
