About the Role

A seasoned engineer with a wealth of experience and deep subject matter expertise in HVAC system design and qualification is sought after to join Carrier's team. The successful candidate will possess a proven track record of excellence in conducting comprehensive system architecture studies, creating product families, and formulating and executing rigorous testing strategies.

Job Responsibilities

The primary responsibility of this position is the engineering technology development for commercial water chilling systems and data center cooling. In this role, the individual will be responsible for developing solutions that best meet the local/global market needs by integrating multiple technologies into winning thermal solutions. This includes developing chiller system architecture solutions that meet or exceed product development requirements, thermodynamic-based modeling and optimization of chiller system design, fluid filtration, and pumping, leadership of engineering teams, confirming product design performance, capability, and reliability testing in engineering product test laboratories, collaborating with product marketing teams locally to develop product requirements, and following all appropriate design, safety, and qualification standards in development programs.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in engineering and 5+ years of systems engineering experience. Advanced education combined with experience is preferred. Substantial knowledge of Carrier organization, programs, or systems to make enhancements within the job area is also beneficial.
