About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Ascension Genesys. As a key member of our Diagnostic Radiology department, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our hospital.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate radiographic equipment to produce clinical diagnostic radiographs and images.
  • Perform diagnostic procedures according to established standards and radiation safety practices.
  • Work directly with patients, radiologists, physicians, and fellow associates.
  • Follow established rules, regulations, policies, and procedures of Genesys Regional Medical Center.
  • Deliver quality patient care, including the use of universal precautions, sterile technique, and maintaining patient confidentiality.
  • Produce quality radiographs by selecting the appropriate technical factors, correctly positioning the patient, and manipulating equipment components properly.
  • Represent the hospital in a positive manner, both in and outside the work area.
  • Ensure proper patient identification and enter procedure information into the hospital management information system.
  • Maintain adequate patient radiation protection and keep work areas and equipment clean and orderly.
Requirements
  • Certified BLS Provider specializing in Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association.
  • Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or certified by the American Registry of Clinical Radiography Technologists.
  • Equivalent of a high school diploma and completion of an accredited 2-year radiology program.
