PSS/Paramedic (PSS/PARA) Security Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled PSS/Paramedic (PSS/PARA) to provide mobile armed personal protection and emergency response security services in high-risk areas for the Department of State in Baghdad, Iraq.
Responsibilities- Provide advanced emergency medical care to personnel as required, including invasive and pharmacological interventions within the scope of practice and in alignment with national emergency medical services scope of practice and clinical protocol guidance.
- Perform day-to-day personal protective security functions, including driving the lead vehicle, principal's vehicle, follow-vehicle, and/or acting as a response agent whenever required in motorcade or similar operations.
- Maintain assigned protective formation position during principal's walking movements and participate in advance security preparations.
- Staff the security post at the principal's residence, or man the command post or other static post as required.
- Must be a U.S. citizen and currently possess a valid U.S. driver's license and a valid U.S. tourist passport.
- Must be 21 years of age or older and have a minimum of three (3) years of verifiable pre-hospital emergency medical services experience at the AEMT or paramedic level.
- Must possess current and active National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians certification as a Paramedic and the following certifications: Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Professional Rescuer, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Advanced Trauma Training, and National Academy Emergency Technicians (NAEMT) 63-hour TCCC Combat Medic/Corpsman (CMC) certification.
- Must obtain and maintain a personnel security clearance as identified in the contract (DOS Secret level) and attend and successfully complete required training.
