Job Title: EHS Specialist

At Intuitive, we are committed to creating a culture of safety and excellence. We are seeking an experienced EHS Specialist to join our team and contribute to our mission of advancing minimally invasive care.

Job Summary:

The EHS Specialist will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, as well as developing and implementing effective safety programs to protect employees and the environment. This role will work closely with local process owners and business partners to identify and mitigate risks, and will be responsible for conducting ergonomic evaluations and job hazard assessments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure adherence to all relevant legal rules and regulations
  • Develop and implement effective safety programs to protect employees and the environment
  • Conduct ergonomic evaluations and job hazard assessments to identify risk
  • Partner with stakeholders to mitigate risk and improve safety
  • Conduct employee safety trainings and promote a culture of safety
  • Track and report incidents, and conduct root cause analyses to identify areas for improvement
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in management system experience, ideally in the medical device industry or with EH&S
  • Influential personality with exceptional interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
  • Exceptional administrative and record-keeping skills
  • Knowledge of ISO 14001 and/or other management systems, such as ISO 45001
  • Exceptional knowledge of local, state, national, and international laws on environmental protection and employee health and safety
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Professional certification such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Professional Ergonomist (CPE)
  • Experience with Agile
