Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Director of Quality and Compliance to join our team at NeuroPsychiatric Hospitals in Corwn Point, IN. As a national leader in providing medical and neurobehavioral care to patients in acute psychiatric distress, we require a dedicated professional to oversee our quality improvement, regulatory compliance, and risk management processes.

The successful candidate will be responsible for directing and overseeing all quality improvement, regulatory compliance, and risk management processes and initiatives for our facilities. This will include active involvement in reporting data and project-based work as directed.

Responsibilities
  1. Provide leadership and support for Quality, Risk, and Regulatory Compliance functions for the facility.
  2. Lead and serve as direct supervisor to Quality and Compliance team with projects and reports.
  3. Identify, assess, and prioritize facilities in the areas of risk, survey preparedness, and clinical programming.
  4. Assist facility leadership in coordinating the investigation, processing, and defense of complaints for accrediting bodies, regulatory agencies, and MCOs.
  5. Monitor the timely submission and trending of required reporting to Quality and Compliance.
  6. Travel to complete onsite visits to assist with survey preparation and follow-up, complete standardized Compliance audit, assist with review and development of P&Ps/forms for client care, and ensure Quality Meetings/Committee of the Whole are occurring as required.
  7. Monitor and assess high-risk or problem-prone facilities and priorities.
  8. Provide orientation and training as needed to facility leadership, including, but not limited to, CEO, DON, Clinical Director, QI/Risk Manager, Plant Operations, and Infection Control.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's of Science in Nursing, with a Master's degree preferred, or a LCSW. Active Registered Nurse (RN) or LCSW licensure is required, with BLS and Verbal Escalation Training provided during orientation.

At least 5 years of experience leading compliance, quality improvement, and/or risk management initiatives is essential, with previous experience in an acute psychiatric facility preferred. Familiarity with medically compromised, psychiatric patient populations, multi-site behavioral health experience, including experience in an acute setting, and familiarity with CMS and TJC are also required.

The successful candidate will be able to travel up to 75% of the time.
