We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Trades Instructor to join our team at Home Builders Institute Inc. As a key member of our instructional staff, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training and education to our students in the electrical trade.
Key Responsibilities- Instruction: Develop and deliver curriculum and training materials for electrical trade skills, ensuring that students meet industry standards and requirements.
- Student Development and Placement: Assist with student recruitment, placement, and employability training, fostering positive relationships with funders, program partners, and other personnel.
- Classroom Management: Ensure a safe and productive learning environment, adhering to all applicable safety protocols and maintaining accurate records and reports.
- Education and Experience: A High School Diploma or equivalent and/or any combination of work, education, and/or skills equivalent to Journey-level experience in the electrical trade.
- Skills and Abilities: Strong coaching skills, ability to teach, inspire, and lead future trades professionals, with a strong orientation to safety in the workplace.
Usual office-type working conditions, with routine physical conditions including walking, carrying, standing, hearing/listening, and sitting. Nominal travel anticipated.
