Position Overview:

This role will be responsible for guiding and documenting activities of daily living, caring for clients, helping coordinate treatment, executing daily programming, assisting counselors with crisis management, group, and education as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Obtain direction and guidance from the Turning Point Behavioral Health Executive Director and Licensed Addiction Counselor(s).
  • Collaborate with the Peaceful Pines Senior Living Executive Director and team members to ensure proper care and service is provided, including medication administration, daily meal and snack service, maintenance, and housekeeping.
  • Support and assist with the completion of day-to-day tasks and activities in accordance with applicable lesson plans, treatment goals, and objectives of the clients.
  • Ensure a clean, safe, attractive, and functional environment for daily therapy sessions.
  • Observe and assist with the implementation of group instructional activities.
  • Responsible for assuring all clients are treated with dignity and respect.
  • Monitor clients for signs and symptoms of abuse and report incidents to appropriate staff and personnel immediately.
  • Provide updates to Behavioral Health Technician(s) and support Licensed Addiction Counselor(s) regarding activities, tasks, and general observations to ensure exceptional care is provided 24/7.
  • Adhere to all HIPAA and state regulations to ensure a quality environment where compliance and best practices are utilized.
  • Welcome potential clients upon arrival and handle scheduling for client needs.
  • Be responsive to answering phone calls and communicating in a professional manner.
  • Adhere to applicable insurance requirements, ethical standards, and policies and procedures of Turning Point Behavioral Health and HME Care Services.
  • Consistently demonstrate a high level of integrity, communication, responsibility, accountability, and teamwork.
  • Attend team meetings, events, and seminars as required by Turning Point Behavioral Health.
Ideal Candidate Profile:

We're looking for someone with an 'I can do that' attitude for providing positive, uplifting communication and exceptional care service with compassion.

Experience, knowledge, or interest in chemical dependency and abuse is a plus.

Must be 18 years or older.

Valid Driver's License.

Ability to communicate and work effectively with clients of diverse backgrounds.

High school diploma or equivalent GED.

Preferred 6 months working in a behavioral health setting or a combination of education and experience.

Certified Medication Aide is a plus, but training can be provided.
