Chief Equity Compensation Officer

Axon seeks an experienced Director of Equity Compensation to lead strategic and day-to-day activities of the company's equity plans.
About YouWe're looking for a skilled professional with 10+ years of experience in stock administration, preferably in a public company. Strong knowledge of equity awards, programs, and accounting standards is essential. Excellent analytical and communication skills are required to work effectively with various teams, including People Operations, Payroll, Legal, Accounting, Financial Planning & Analysis, Tax, and internal and external audit.
Key Responsibilities- Manage end-to-end stock administration, reviewing grants, exercises, releases, and cancellations, monthly reconciliations, and share utilization.
- Involved in designing equity programs, collaborating with People Ops, Legal, Tax, and local teams to maintain compliance with federal, state, and foreign regulations.
- Implement best practices, automate workstreams, and provide excellent customer service to equity plan participants.
- Oversee forecasting models for dilutive shares and assist with stock-based compensation expense forecasting.
- Coordinate reporting of stock compensation for employee income purposes, both domestic and international.
- Review performance criteria for performance-based grants.
- Competitive salary: $146,000 - $215,000 depending on location.
