About the Opportunity

We are seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our staff at one of our schools in Westchester, NY.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and treat students with disabilities to help them access the academic environment and participate in educationally related activities.
  • Maintain daily progress and attendance records, and write progress reports to track student development.
  • Attend IEP meetings to collaborate with educators and parents on student goals and objectives.
  • Recommend adaptive equipment, environmental accommodations, or assistive technology to support student learning.
  • Perform other duties as needed to support the educational and therapeutic needs of our students.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy or related field.
  • Active NYS Occupational Therapist (OT) license.
  • CPR certification.
  • Computer savvy with solid assessment and documentation skills.
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, educators, and parents.
  • Strong attention to detail and highly organized.
Desired Skills
  • Experience working with the pediatric population, particularly those with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
