Instructional Support Specialist II

This is a high-level instructional support position working with individual or small groups of students, who require additional literacy or math support in Spanish, under the direction of the certificated RTI Teacher and/or classroom teacher.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Provides targeted instruction to individuals or small groups of students in grades TK-5.
- Provides intervention services to students in reading/writing and/or math in Spanish.
- Provides clerical support services to RTI teachers.
- Manages student behaviors, supports student learning, and student assessments.
- Arranges supplies, materials, and equipment for student use.
Requirements:
- Must pass District Basic Skills Test or, provide passing grade College Transcripts in English and Math.
- Must pass the District's Bilingual Assessment and Oral Language Evaluation.
- Resume.
- 3 letters of recommendation.
- Instructional aides must comply with State competency testing to qualify for the position.
