About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrical Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Corteva Agriscience. As an Electrical Maintenance Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the operation of company equipment, including electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, control devices, and HVAC systems.
  • Perform electrical repairs and scheduled inspections of equipment, following prescribed guidelines and procedures.
  • Review and lead electrical safety programs for the plant maintenance team.
  • Service, troubleshoot, and repair any electrical/mechanical problems.
  • Adhere to all quality systems and safety procedures, including Environmental regulations, OSHA, and PSM procedures.
  • Make recommendations for improved safety through electrical programs and/or process changes.
  • Serve as safety program leader.
  • Perform various other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Working knowledge and ability to interpret the National Electric Code (NEC).
  • Two to three years of industrial electrician/maintenance experience.
  • Ability to work on machines and electrical components.
  • Willingness to troubleshoot and implement solutions.
  • Ability to work in elevated areas, stand and sit for extended periods, work outdoors and indoors in various conditions, lift up to 50 lbs., and perform repetitive motion and lifting.
  • Valid US Driver's License.
  • Comfortable with technology and good computer aptitude, including Microsoft Applications.
  • Ability to schedule work/jobs and follow up on completion status.
  • High diligence, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Good written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to uphold health and safety standards and consistently help others.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate or Two-Year Trade School Degree in a technical, electrical, or mechanical field.
  • Journeymen license.
  • Experience with a work order and part inventory system.
  • Knowledge and/or experience with Automation and Programmable Logic Controls (PLC).
  • Previous industrial maintenance work production equipment experience.
