Family Health Centers of San Diego is seeking a skilled Pediatric Physical Therapist to join our multidisciplinary care team. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality care to a diverse pediatric caseload, from 0 to 13 years old.
Responsibilities- Evaluate patients referred to physical therapy, including those in our Childhood Obesity clinic, Early Intervention, and Infant Mental Health programs.
- Develop and implement effective treatment plans, communicating with patients and their caregivers to ensure successful outcomes.
- Provide home program activities to patients and their caregivers to promote carryover and progress.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including physicians and allied health staff, to ensure comprehensive care.
- Participate in case conferencing and program planning meetings to drive quality improvement and patient outcomes.
- California State licensure as a Physical Therapist.
- Current American Heart Association healthcare provider CPR (BLS), or Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Advanced Trauma Life Support, or Advance Resuscitation Training.
- At least 2 years' experience as a Physical Therapist, with pediatric-specific experience and early intervention experience preferred.
