Job Description

We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented, and compassionate pediatric physical therapist to join our team. As a pediatric physical therapist at KWalk Kids, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients, from birth to 18 years old, and help them achieve their movement goals.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing physical therapy evaluations and ongoing treatment, with a strong emphasis on the early intervention population (birth-3 years old)
  • Completing accurate documentation in a timely manner (evaluations/progress notes within 1 week, daily notes by the end of each month)
  • Communicating with patients and families regarding evaluation results, goals, and treatment plans
  • Providing patient education, parent training, and recommendations to support progress outside of PT sessions
  • Helping grow the practice via building programs within the community and assisting with social media and marketing (part-time & full-time positions only)

Qualifications

Requirements include:

  • Licensed physical therapist in the state of CA with a passion for the pediatric population
  • 1 year of pediatric experience preferred, but not required
  • Employee training provided
  • Maintain current BLS CPR certification and be up to date on vaccinations
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
  • Strong communication, time management, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Available at least 10 hours/week, with the ability to work up to a full caseload if desired
