Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior IT Network Engineer II to join our team at Infojini. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and designing network systems, providing support for network systems, and tracking, monitoring, and troubleshooting network hardware and software.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network systems and applications, as well as experience in network design, research, and development, capacity planning, and quality of service. They will also possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and design network systems, including network infrastructure, security systems, and unified communications technologies.
  • Provide support for network systems, including troubleshooting and resolving issues.
  • Track, monitor, and troubleshoot network hardware and software.
  • Lead and perform network research and development, including capacity planning and quality of service.
  • Perform network configuration, optimization, installation, upgrades, and testing.
  • Analyze requests and provide customer assistance for solutions.
  • Maintain confidentiality for proprietary and personal information.
  • Use independent judgment and exercise discretion.
  • Problem solve, prioritize, and multi-task.
  • Communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work.
  • Work independently and in a team environment.
  • Lead and train.
  • Operate current office equipment, including computers and supporting applications.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a related field and six years of relevant experience; or Master's degree from an accredited college or university in a related field and four years of relevant experience.
  • Principles, practices, and procedures of Information Technology; network systems and applications; principles, practices, and procedures of network design, research and development, capacity planning, and quality of service.
  • Operational characteristics of network systems; word processing and spreadsheets; project management; and current office technology and equipment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • CCIE Cisco Certified Internetworking Engineer or Equivalent.
  • Valid California Class C Driver License that allows you to drive in the course of your employment.
