About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Froedtert Hospital, specializing in Hematology/Oncology. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and contributing to the development of evidence-based practice guidelines.

Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients with hematological and oncological conditions.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the advancement of nursing practice and patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and treatment plans.
Requirements
  • Current state of Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or a Multi-state Nursing License from a participating state in the NLC (Nurse Licensure Compact).
  • American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA-approved equivalent within 90 days of hire.
  • Professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice, typically acquired through completion of education at an accredited School of Nursing.
