Job Overview: This is a unique opportunity to work as an Occupational Health Medical Assistant at one of our client's smaller clinics located in Cedar Rapids, IA. You will be assisting two Nurses and covering both front and back office responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Answer phones and schedule appointments
  • Maintain employee health records using EPIC
  • Office organization including updating binders and ordering supplies
  • Keep the Health Center Manager aware of upcoming due dates/document signatures needed
  • First-aid support applying dressings
  • Conduct hearing exams (training will be provided)
  • BLS/CPR certified (hands-on courses only)

Requirements:

  • Medical Assistant Certificate/Diploma
  • Registered or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, CCMA) highly preferred
  • Proof of US Citizenship for security clearance/badging
