Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development in infants and toddlers.
  • Establish and maintain a safe and nurturing learning environment that fosters a sense of community and belonging.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
  • Conduct regular assessments to monitor progress and adjust instruction accordingly.
  • Provide individualized attention and support to meet the unique needs of each child.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent and a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential, New Mexico Child Development Certificate (CDC), or equivalent.
  • One year certificate in Early Childhood Education or related field.
  • AA/AAS degree with 29 credits in Early Childhood Education and experience teaching infants/toddlers.
  • BA/BS degree with 45 credits in Early Childhood Education and experience teaching infants/toddlers.
  • AA/AAS, BA/BS or advanced degree in Early Childhood Education, Early Childhood Multicultural Education, Child Development.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience working in early childhood with children ages birth through three years.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
