You will also be responsible for executing product promotions to increase sales and brand awareness for NYU Langone Health Optical.

Responsibilities:

* Engage and create a personalized experience with each client to promote various optical services
* Knowledge of various vision plans a plus
* Ensure cases and displays are properly maintained and stocked
* Effectively execute product promotions to increase sales and brand awareness for NYU Langone Health Optical
* Stay up to date on optical trends and services
* Must be able to take lens measurements and adjust frames for fitting
* Provide each client assistance and education on frame types, lenses, and other optical products
* Other duties assigned

Requirements:

* Associate Degree or higher
* Licensed Optician
* 3 yrs. optical sales experience
* 3 yrs. of vendor and inventory management experience
* Must be able to develop, track, and obtain sales goals.
* Knowledge of current and emerging optical market.
* Knowledge of contact lens fitting.
* Knowledge of eyeglass lens finishings.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Individual must be able to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment. Must be organized and pay attention to detail.

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $45, $70,553.94 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
